Communication is Key.

I was born in Richmond and have lived in Chesterfield County all my life. I studied Criminal Justice at Radford University, and while attending college worked in furniture retail which sparked my interest in selling and working with people. After I had a family, I decided to further my education to become an Exceptional Education Teacher in Chesterfield County, where I learned to handle various family situations and challenges.

I then went to the University of Richmond for my Master’s Degree in Leadership to further my skills. Shortly after graduating, I realized I wanted to use my skills to help families in a different way and became a realtor. I recently obtained my broker’s license. I love helping families buy and sell their homes and I truly enjoy helping them through the entire process and answering their questions.

My experience with Valentine Properties has been outstanding. My personal business and my relationships with clients, who are now friends, has greatly increased since joining the Valentine team. Heather is always willing to share her expertise with her team. She wants to see each of us grow and be successful in our own business.

I love being able to educate my clients so that they feel confident in the decision they make when selling or buying. I always remind them that if they don’t love it, don’t buy it. It is way too expensive to just like it a little bit. I love seeing the look on their faces when they walk into the house that they love and want to call home. I love the excitement of handing them the key to their new home at closing and seeing happy smiles or tears of joy. It is a constant reminder of the positive impact I am making when being with them through the process.

I have three children who make me proud every day and I’m currently engaged to Sam Lewis. We have three dogs and a Quaker parrot who bring us so much joy. When I’m not working in Real Estate, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
